senior adult getting care and assistance

Welcome to the CHSP Advisory Hub

Ageing Australia is the national peak body representing providers across the aged care landscape, including retirement living, seniors housing, residential care, home care, community care and related services.

The Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC) have announced that the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) has been further extended from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027. This means that CHSP providers will transition to the new Support at Home program no earlier than 2027.

Ageing Australia is supporting Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) providers to implement new aged care reforms and prepare for the transition to the Support at Home Program.

The CHSP Advisory Hub aims to equip CHSP providers with the knowledge, tools and strategies necessary to support planning for the changes between now and 2027.

CHSP providers can access a range of resources and information related to the delivery of CHSP services here.
