Aged Care Work Readiness Program information session for people from cultural backgrounds in Hobart and the North West Coast and surrounds.
Are you interested in aged care? are you a caring person that would like to make the difference in the lives of older Tasmanians? Would you like to gain the right skills to start working in aged care? If so, come along to an information session and find out more about ACSA’s Work Readiness Program.
The information session will explain all about our 5-week training program and find out more about the aged care industry and your chance to ask questions about job roles and the skills you need.:
Target Audience: This program is for jobseekers from cultural backgrounds, who live in the Hobart and North West and surrounding areas and are interested in obtaining work ready skills to work in the Aged Care Sector. We will cover job roles such as cleaner, laundry assistant, catering, care and support.
This aged care specific Work Readiness Program will help job seekers from cultural backgrounds become aged care ‘work ready’. by completing the course, you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to take on entry job roles in aged care. There is no cost to participate in this program.
The information sessions will be held
- Ulverstone – 10am on Tuesday, 29th June, 2021
- Hobart – 10am on the Wednesday, 4th August, 2021
